CUBA BUSINESS REPORT- José Ramón Cabañas Rodríguez is Cuba’s First Ambassador to the United States, appointed two months after the restoration of diplomatic relations on September 17, 2015. Prior to becoming Cuba’s ambassador in Washington, he was Chief of the Cuban Interests Section in that city.

Havana, January 13, 2020. Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez strongly rejected on Monday the threats by Venezuelan opposition lawmaker Juan Guaido to take over teleSUR's television signal.

Cubans living in St. Vincent and the Grenadines celebrate the 61st anniversary of the Triumph of the Revolution.

Kingstown, January 12, 2020. Members of the Association of Cuban Residents in St. Vincent and the Grenadines "Juan Almeida Bosque" met last Saturday, to celebrate together the 61st anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution and the arrival of the year 2020.

The meeting was the right moment to discuss the work carried out by the Association in 2019 and to define actions for this year that has just begun, among them, the celebration of the IV Conference "The Nation and Emigration", which will take place in Havana from April 8 to 10.
