Guyana and Cuba Celebrate Second Round of Migratory Talks

Cuba and the Cooperative Republic of Guyana will hold in Georgetown, the Second Round of Migratory Talks agreed to 10th and 11th April, as part of the exchanges held systematically on this matter between both countries.

The delegations of both countries will be headed by the Minister of Citizenship of Guyana Honorable Winston Felix and by the Director General of the Directorate of Consular and Cuban Affairs Resident Abroad, Hon. Mr. Ernesto Soberón Guzmán.

This meeting will be favorable to review the issues discussed in the first round of talks, in addition to pointing out aspects of mutual interest between both countries, as a way to guarantee legal, organized and safe immigration, combat trafficking and trafficking of persons, as well as physical integrity and respect for the human rights of travelers.
