By The Mast, 23 June 2019. CUBAN President Miguel Díaz-Canel says Cuba will never negotiate with the United States under pressure and threats. In a Tweet, President Díaz-Canel said Cuba clearly rejected the aggressive policy dictated by the President Donald Trump government against the Caribbean country. The Cuban Head of State invoked revolutionary icon Fidel Castro’s words when he said that, “honour, the country and dignity are not negotiated, just like independence, sovereignty, history and glory are not negotiated either.”
The “EXPOCARIBE 2019” trade fair concluded this weekend in the city of Santiago de Cuba. The event, one of the largest of its kind dedicated to the Caribbean, was held at the Heredia Cultural Complex of Santiago de Cuba City, on June 19 - 22 2019. Saint Lucia was represented by the Honorable Bradley Felix, Minister for Commerce, Industry, Investment, Enterprise Development and Consumer Affairs and the Chief Executive Officer of Export St Lucia (TEPA), Sunita Daniel.

New York, 24 June 2019. Today, the UN Committee on Decolonization adopted, by consensus, a decision regarding Puerto Rico. The text submitted by Cuba was co-sponsored by Antigua and Barbuda, the Plurinational State of Bolivia, the Republic of Nicaragua, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the Syrian Arab Republic and the Russian Federation.
This is the twentieth consecutive time that the Committee on Decolonization has adopted a resolution on Puerto Rico by consensus.
New York, 24 June 2019. The Draft Resolution on the question of Puerto Rico, contained in document A/AC.109/2019/L.9 was presented today by Cuba to the United Nations Special Committee on Decolonization.
The Consular Section of the Embassy of Cuba in Indonesia announces the temporary closure of consular services from next July 10th.
Taking into consideration the above, new aplication will be received just until next July 5th.
The services will resume normally on August 26th.
