Cuba and Jamaica foresee more collaboration in Tourism

KINGSTON, JAMAICA, November 27th, 2017.Cuban and Jamaica foresee the strengthening of the cooperation and exchange of experiences in the area of tourism, economic sphere that is of key importance for both Caribbean nations.

During a meeting between the Minister of Tourism of Jamaica, Edmund Barttlet, and the Ambassador of Cuba in this capital, Inés Fors Fernánez, held at this ministry´s venue, both authorities coincided on the necessity to increase the collaboration in tourism, the main engine of the two countries´ economies.

Association of Graduates in Cuba of Sri Lanka pays tribute to the Commander in Chief

SRI LANKA, November 26, 2017. - The Association of Graduates in Cuba of Sri Lanka paid tribute to the Commander in Chief on the first anniversary of his physical disappearance. After listening to the notes of the national anthems of Cuba and Sri Lanka, a minute of silence was observed and a wreath was held next to the statue of Fidel, prepared by art students of the University of Colombo, and donated to the Embassy of Cuba by the Association of Graduates.

Cubans living in Ghana participate in tribute paid to Fidel

A representation of Cuban community in Ghana attended the homage paid to the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution on the first anniversary of his physical disappearance.

In the framework of the political-cultural gathering, organized by the Cuban Mission in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, to pay tribute to Commander in Chief Fidel Castro on the first anniversary of his physical disappearance, the Ambassador, Vilma Reyes Valdespino delivered the diplomas of recognition of two of the participants in the "Dear Fidel" Contest, convened in September by the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba and the Association of Cubans residing in that country.
