Lusaka, 24 June 2019. The Mast. THE 6th African Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba will be held in Nigeria from September 23 to 25, 2019.  According to a statement, the Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba, a continuity of its five previous editions, will confirm the international support for the validity of the model of social justice that Cuba symbolises and its viability as an alternative for that “other better and possible world” for which the peoples of the world struggle.

The Group of Ambassadors of Latin America and the Caribbean accredited in the United Arab Emirates, we held a fruitful meeting of joint work with the Director General of IRENA, Francesco La Camera, in the international organization headquarters in Abu Dhabi, where the maximum directive made a presentation on the general objectives to work for the development of cooperation with the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean.

In addition, Mr. Gurbuz Gonul, Director Division of Support to Countries and Alliances (CSP), offered a presentation with interesting information.

With the presence of the specialist in cooperation and international relations of the Office of the Historian of the City of Camagüey, Yahi Milones Santander, Cuba participates in the Forum of Young Professionals of the World Heritage that began today at the University of Architecture and Construction of Azerbaijan.
At the opening of the event, the rector of the University, Dr. Gulchohra Mammadova, stressed the importance of the forum and stated that it allows the world to be presented with the rich cultural heritage of Azerbaijan.

Roseau, June 24, 2019. The act of awarding scholarships to the 16 students of Dominica who were selected for the "Scholarship Plan" granted by the government of Cuba, was held today, June 24, 2019, at the Embassy of Cuba.

The Cuban Ambassador, Alejandro Simancas, visited the community of Canaries on the western coast of Saint Lucia, where a pilot project will be initiated in Saint Lucia from the renowned Cuban Literacy Program “Yo sí puedo”.

Given that the United Nations General Assembly for 27 year consecutive years has called for an end to the United States economic, commercial and financial embargo on Cuba;
