They also expressed their rejection of the economic, commercial and financial blockade that for 60 years has been imposed on the Island, confirming their solidarity and support to the Cuban people.

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia was received at the Palace of the Revolution by the Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, Inés María Chapman.

During the talks, both Vice-Presidents ratified the good state of bilateral relations and the interest to continue deepening them.

The Hague, 17 of July 2019.- The Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in the Netherlands and the General Consulate in Rotterdam will close on the July 25 and 26, 2019 in celebration of the Day of National Rebellion in Cuba.

The Embassy and the Consulate will resume their activities on July 29.

Cuban Ambassador, Mario Alzugaray, gave a lecture at the University of Canterbury, in which he addressed, among other topics, Cuba's vision regarding the situation in Latin America, the aggressive escalation of the US government towards the Island and other issues on the international agenda.

CUBA, July 15, 2019.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, received on Monday the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, His Excellency, Ouch Borith, who makes a work visit to the country.
During the cordial meeting, both sides highlighted the good state of bilateral relations and expressed the mutual desire to expand political ties and cooperation in sectors such as health, sports and biotechnology.

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, left for Havana to fulfill the invitation received from the First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers of the Republic of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa.

The Dr. Bawumia will be the Special Guest of Honour at the Graduation Ceremony of the 232 new Ghanaian doctors, who completed their training in Cuban classrooms in a successful way.
