Kuwait, October 8, 2017. The Cuban Embassy in Kuwait and members of the Cuban medical brigade paid a well-deserved tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara on the 50th anniversary of his death in Bolivia and 20 years since his remains were transferred to the island.
Yuliagni La O López, member of the medical brigade presented an audiovisual material that gathers the life of the heroic guerrilla and read some poems inspired by his legendary figure.

Barbados, October 7. At the culmination of the second day's discussions, delegates from the 8 countries attending the First Caribbean Conference on Peace adopted the Bridgetown Declaration and a concise plan of immediate action to address the imminent challenges and dangers to world peace and stability in the region in the short and medium term.
Barbados, October 7. The various pacifist organizations that convened the First Caribbean Conference for Peace, held on October 6 and 7, decided to dedicate to the commanders Ernesto "Che" Guevara and Fidel Castro Ruz, the excellent results obtained in the conclave, for consider them "two world visionary leaders who made an extraordinary contribution to the peace and liberation of the peoples of Africa and Latin America and the Caribbean," as reflected in the Bridgetown Declaration.
