Cuban Ambassador exchanges pleasantries with Ghanaian Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Ghana

The Ambassador of Cuban,Pedro Luis González Despaigne, held cordial discussion with the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture of Ghana and member of Parliament, Mrs. Catherine Abelema Afeku during the opening session of the World Tourism Forum- Africa Summit in the Kempiski Hotel Gold Coast City in the Ghanaian capital.

In the event, which featured the participation of the Vice-President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, were brought some projects of the future development of tourism in the country.

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the fall of Che and guerrilla comrades in Bolivia, the Embassy of Cuba in Denmark held an activity to pay tribute to them on October 9th, which included the screening of the documentary "A photo travels the world", made by Pedro Chaskel. Likewise, a photographic exhibition of different stages of the life of the Heroic Guerrilla was inaugurated and it will be exposed during the month of October in the Embassy of Cuba in Copenhagen.

Malaysian government secretary expresses condolences over Hurricane Irma

Kuala Lumpur, October 10 – The Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia Tan Sri Ali Hamsa received a courtesy visit from the ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia, Ibete Fernández Hernández.

At the meeting, the Chief Secretary to the Governmentexpressed his condolences for the damages caused to Cuba by Hurricane Irma. The parties also discussed the possibilities of collaboration between Cuba and Malaysia, identifying potentialities in the biotechnology and medicine sector.

Tribute to Che on the 50th. Anniversary of his death

Ireland, October 9, 2017. With an event called "Che abú Festival" during the days 6 to 8 of October, a heartfelt tribute to Ernesto Che Guevara took place in Ardara, County Donegal.

The event was organized by Cuba Support Group and the Cuban Embassy in Ireland and was attended by independent deputies Thomas Pringle, Maureen O'Sullivan and Catherine Connolly, among others.
