The Ambassador of Cuba in Azerbaijan, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, exchanged with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan, Mukhtar Babayev, during the celebration of the IX International Exhibition of Azerbaijan on the Environment that took place in this Caucasian nation.

In the conversation the Cuban diplomat thanked the invitation to the important forum, appreciated the innovations and novelties and proposed an exchange and cooperation with Cuba in this sphere.

Mrs. Otiko Afisah Djaba, former Minister of Gender, Childhood and Social Protection, and Mr. Abdul Hamid Samed, president of the Institute for Peace and Progress, visited the Cuban Embassy where they were received by Ambassador Pedro Luis Despaigne González.
