CZECH REPUBLIC, May 20th, 2019. - The Cuban Ambassador in the Czech Republic, Danilo Alonso Mederos, and the Third Secretary, Evelyn León Pérez, held a pleasant meeting with the correspondent of the newspaper Haló noviny, Helena Kočová, after her participation in the International Tourism Fair (FITCuba 2019).
CZECH REPUBLIC, May 20th, 2019. - On the morning of Sunday, May 19th, the Embassy of Cuba in the Czech Republic, the Martian Association of Cuban Residents and the Cuban delegation of the Electric Union paid homage to the National Hero José Martí, in the bust located at the headquarters of the Diplomatic Mission, on the 124th anniversary of his fall in combat.
Beirut, May 19, 2019. On the morning of today took place in the Lebanese town of Abey, a hike to pay tribute to the National Hero of Cuba José Martí on the 124th Anniversary of his death in combat.
The tribute to the most universal of the Cubans was also an opportunity to express solidarity and support to Cuba and Venezuela of the Lebanese, Palestinians, Venezuelans and Cubans who participated.
Ljubljana, 20 May 2019. The second edition of ”The Latin America and the Caribbean Days " in Slovenia, an event organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of that country, began today, with a strong presence of Cuba, both through the delegation and the spaces dedicated to the Caribbean country, in the sections of economy, science, and culture.
The event was inaugurated at the headquarters of the Ljubljana Cultural and Congress Center, Cankarjev dom, by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, H.E. Mr. Miro Cerar and it will last until Saturday, 25 May.

Convened by the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica "Antonio Maceo Grajales", forty Cubans of all ages, including a 101-year-old lady, gathered last Sunday May 19 at the premises of the Embassy to remind the Cuban National Hero -on the occasion of the 124th anniversary of his fall in combat- and to celebrate the anniversaries of the José Martí Pioneer Organization and the Young Communist League, Mother's Day and the International Children's Day.
The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) is concerned by the new measures under Title III of the Helms-Burton Act announced by the Government of the United States of America which would strengthen the US economic, commercial and financial embargo against Cuba. The Community denounces the application of laws and measures of an extra-territorial nature that are contrary to international law.

The 124th anniversary of the fall in combat of the Cuban National Hero, José Julián Marti Pérez, was commemorated by Cubans who are serving a mission in Dominica in two events held at the headquarters of the brigades of collaboration, on May 18, 2019, the eve of that anniversary of the history of Cuba.
