Georgia Chamber of Commerce and Industry receives invitation to FIHAV 2019

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Georgia, Nino Chikovani, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in this Caucasian nation, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, at the headquarters of that institution.

The two parties expressed the will to work to explore the commercial links between both countries, according to the existing potentialities.

The diplomat extended the invitation for Georgia to be present at the upcoming Havana Fair, FIHAV 2019, which will be held from November 4 to 8 in the Cuban capital.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in this Caucasian nation, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, with whom he spoke in a cordial atmosphere.

Pretoria, 26 may, 2019.- The first vice president of the Councils of State and Ministers of Cuba, Salvador Valdés Mesa, held a cordial meeting with Cyril Ramaphosa, president of South Africa.

The Cuban representative conveyed the congratulations of the government and people of the Island to the newly inaugurated South African leader, wished him every success in his responsibilities as head of the country and thanked South Africa's firm support for Cuba in the battle against the blockade

Commemorate the 56th Anniversary of the African Union at the Cuban Embassy in Ghana

A political and cultural activity was held at the Embassy of Cuba in Ghana in tribute to the 56th anniversary of the Day of African Unity (AU), which was headed by the Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González.

The main speakers at the event were the leader of the Socialist Forum of Ghana, Mr. Kwesi Pratt Jr.; Mr. Benjamin Anyagre, a Ghanaian graduate of Cuba; the Cuban resident in Ghana, Dr. Claribel Cabarrocas; and Ambassador Kojo Owusu Gyamadua Amoo-Gottfried, who was directly linked to the beginnings of bilateral cooperation.

The first vice president of Cuba Salvador Valdés Mesa, presided over the official Cuban delegation that participated today in the ceremony of presidential inauguration of Cyril Ramaphosa.
On behalf of the Island, the event was attended by Ana Teresita González Fraga, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs; Brigadier General Arnaldo Tamayo Méndez, adviser to the Minister of the Revolutionary Armed Forces; and the Ambassador of Cuba, Rodolfo Benítez Verson.
