The Ambassador of Cuba exposes negative effects of blockade on Pan African Television Channel

The Ambassador of Cuba to Ghana, Pedro Luis Despaigne González was interviewed for the Pan African Television Channel´s Hot News Program.

In the interview, led by the journalist Eugene Edem Buzady, the Ambassador addressed a wide range of issues that had as an articulating axis the negative effects of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the US for more than five decades to the Cuban population. In his analysis he demonstrated that the blockade is a tool used to destroy the Cuban Revolution.

New York, 26 October 2017. In March 2016, the then President of the United States, Barack Obama, authorized the use of the US dollar in Cuba's foreign trading operations. He also allowed American banking institutions to open offices in the island as well as other facilities, such as permitting local banks to open and maintain accounts of Cuban citizens.
