Cuba and Uganda to expand parliamentary bonds.

UGANDA, November 20, 2018. - The Right Honorable Rebecca Kadaga, President of the National Assembly of Uganda, received the Ambassador of Cuba in this African country, Antonio Luis Pubillones Izaguirre, on a courtesy call on her at 10.30 am this Tuesday.

In a frank and friendly atmosphere, both personalities examined the current state of parliamentary ties and expressed their willingness to work together to expand and strengthen them in the future.

Turkish Deputy Minister of Trade receives the Cuban Ambassador and ratifies the will to expand bilateral ties.

The Deputy Minister of Commerce of Turkey, Gonca Yilmaz Batur, received the Cuban ambassador, Luis Alberto Amorós Núñez, in the new headquarters of the ministry of the branch. In the cordial meeting, both representatives reviewed the state of bilateral economic and trade relations, agreed on the mutual potentialities for the growth of these exchanges and defined upcoming actions to advance in that direction.

Cuban Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment Begins Visit to Canada

Ottawa, November 18, 2018. On Sunday Nov. 18 Cuba´s Minister of Foreign Trade and Investment, Mr. Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz, embarked on a five-day working visit to Canada. During his stay, he will carry out an extensive visit agenda, which includes meetings with Canadian officials and members of the business sector in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

Cuban Ambassador highlights the African contribution in the conformation of the Cuban nation

The Cuban Ambassador, Pedro Luis Despaigne González participated, together with diplomats from the embassies of Latin America accredited in Accra, in a Panel dedicated to the impact of the African Diaspora in the respective countries.

The Panel, led by Dr. Joanna Boampong, Director of the Center for Latin American Studies of the College of Humanities at the University of Ghana, is part of the Program of Activities to Commemorate the Four Centuries of Links between Africa and the Americas.

Dublin, November 17, 2018. Early in the morning session, Aleida Guevara March intervened in the plenary of the International Conference against the Military Bases of the United States and NATO. She said that the borders of the islands should be delimited only by the sea, however some islands, like Cuba, have other borders, in this case, determined by the existence of the US military base at Guantanamo, maintained against the will of our people.
