Cuban and Mexican embassies to host cultural musical presentations

A joint collaboration between the Mexican and Cuban Embassies to Belize will result in a cultural musical presentation showcase at the Institute of Mexico in Belize City on June 6th.

The event is expected to commence at 7:00 p.m., and will gorm part of the 2017 International Jazz Festival.

Two musical groups: “Morena Son”, from Santiago de Cuba and “Casa Wagner” from Tijuana Mexico will entertain the audience.

Cuban experience in the protection of heritage acknowledged at International Symposium

Kingston, June 1st, 2017.  During May 28th and June 1st, it was celebrated in Kingston, the International Symposium on Heritage and Climate Change in the Caribbean organized by UNESCO, the National Commission of Jamaica, the Ministry of Culture and the Department on Climate Change at the Ministry of Economic Growth of Jamaica.
 

Raúl calls to continue advancing in the conceptualization of Cuba’s socio-economic model

The President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers noted that on this occasion the National Assembly reviewed modifications to the Conceptualization of the Cuban Economic and Social Model of Socialist Development, just as it did in June of last year

Speaking during the National Assembly Extraordinary Session, taking place today, June 1, the President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers and First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Army General Raúl Castro Ruz noted that on this occasion the National Assembly reviewed modifications to the Conceptualization of the Cuban Economic and Social Model of Socialist Development, just as it did in June of last year.
