Harare, October 23, 2025 – Cuba today recognized Zimbabwe's resilience and dignity by reiterating its solidarity with the African nation in the face of unilateral coercive measures on the Southern African Development Community (SADC) Anti-Sanctions Day, October 25.

Harare, June 7, 2002 – Ambassador Susellys Pérez Mesa valued relations between the legislatures of Cuba and Zimbabwe with the Chair of the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, Honorable Shamu Webster Kotiwani. The diplomat and the head of the Friendship Group with Cuba discussed follow-up to what was agreed upon during the recent March visit to this capital by the President of the Council of State and the National Assembly of People's Power, Esteban Lazo Hernández.

On April 30, the Embassy of Cuba had the honour of participating in a significant meeting of the Cross-Party Group on Cuba at the Scottish Parliament, with First Secretary Pablo Ginarte offering a wide-ranging update on the current situation in Cuba and the importance of continued Scottish solidarity.

During the meeting, Pablo expressed Cuba’s deep appreciation for Scotland’s principled and enduring friendship, especially in light of the escalating impact of the U.S. blockade and the ongoing inclusion of Cuba on the U.S. list of State Sponsors of Terrorism.

In a courtesy visit, the Cuban ambassador, David Rivero Pérez, was received this Thursday, at the headquarters of the National Assembly of Saint Kitts and Nevis, by its President, Honorable Anthony Michael Perkins.
