The Ambassador of Cuba in the United Arab Emirates, Norberto Carlos Escalona Carrillo paid a visit to the headquarters of the UAE News Agency, WAM, where he was received by its general director, Mohammed Jalal Al Rayssi and his work team. After a tour through the facilities of the nation's main information entity, the Emirati leader reported on his recent trip to some Latin American countries, especially Cuba, showing great satisfaction with its results.
Cuban art and culture on the International Day of the Spanish School of Abu Dhabi
The diplomatic representation of Cuba and its nationals residing in the United Arab Emirates, joined the celebration of the International Day, held at the Spanish School of Abu Dhabi, a center that brings together students from 20 countries of the world.
The event was joyful and with remembrance of the need to instill and promote peace and tolerance, through mutual respect and empathy, aspects that are also key principles of Cuba's relations with the world.
The Abu Dhabi Fund for Development received the diplomatic representation of Cuba
The Ambassador of Cuba in the United Arab Emirates, Norberto Carlos Escalona Carrillo, paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development (ADFD), Mohammed Saif Al Suwaidi, to whom he expressed the greetings of the Cuban authorities and the willingness to continue advancing in the execution of important cooperation projects on the Island.
Cuba and the United Arab Emirates reaffirm mutual support in the multilateral sphere
El Embajador de Cuba en EAU, Norberto Carlos Escalona Carrillo, realizó una visita de cortesía a Shaima Al Ali, directora del Departamento de Organizaciones Internacionales del Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores y Cooperación Internacional de EAU.
Durante la reunión, ambos representantes se congratularon por el buen estado de las relaciones entre Cuba y EAU y su acostumbrado apoyo en el ámbito multilateral. Asimismo, resaltaron la existencia de prioridades comunes en la política exterior de sus países para 2023, año en que Cuba preside el Grupo G77 + China y EAU organiza la celebración de la Conferencia de las Partes sobre Cambio Climático (COP 28), que tendrá lugar en noviembre en Dubai.
