Abu Dhabi, February 6, 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba to the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Norberto Carlos Escalona Carrillo, presented the Credentials to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The Designated Ambassador of Cuba in the United Arab Emirates presented Copies of Credentials
Abu Dhabi, February 2. The Designated Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Norberto Carlos Escalona Carrillo, presented his Copies of Credentials to His Excellency Abdullah Mohamed AlBlooki - Deputy Undersecretary for Protocol Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.
Mr. Abdullah Mohamed Alblooki welcomed the Cuban diplomat and congratulated him on his appointment as the new Head of Mission in the Emirates.
Cuban diplomatic representation attended a meeting with the President of the Federal National Council of the UAE
The President of the UAE Federal National Council, H.E. Saqr Ghobash held a meeting with Ambassadors and diplomatic representatives of Latin American and Caribbean countries, accredited to the United Arab Emirates. The meeting was attended by the Second Secretary of the Cuban Embassy, Ailyn Martínez Sarduy.
The Crown Prince of Dubai visits the Cuban Pavilion at Expo 2020
Coinciding with the celebrations of the 502 Anniversary of Havana and for the return of our country to the new normality, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, accompanied by Her Excellency Reem Al-Hashimi, Minister of State for International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, visited the Cuban Pavilion at Expo Dubai 2020. The distinguished visitors were received by Roberto Blanco Domínguez, Cuban Ambassador to the UAE and Commissioner General of Cuba at Expo 2020, as well as by Miriam Martínez, Director of the Pavilion.
Celebrations in the Cuban Pavilion for the country's success in the battle against Covid-19
On November 15, a celebration took place in the Cuban Pavilion at EXPO 2020 in Dubai to mark the return of the country to the new normality, the total opening of national borders, the reopening of schools and the resumption of tourist activity. The successes obtained thanks to the hard work of our scientists, which allowed us to achieve sovereignty in the production of quality and efficient vaccines, were highlighted.
