Leaders of the Jamaican Parliament offer warm farewell to Ambassador of Cuba

Kingston, Jamaica, 29 June 2021.- Marisa Dalrymple-Philibert and Thomas Tavares Finson, Speaker of the House and the President of the Senate, respectively, offered a cordial farewell to the Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, H.E Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández.

During the cordial meeting, they exchanged their views on the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation existing between both countries, including the parliamentary sphere, as well as the existing prospects of continued development.

Kingston, Jamaica, 28 June 2021. The Ministry of Health and Wellness of Jamaica organized a farewell ceremony at its headquarters for the Ambassador of Cuba, Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández, who will soon complete her diplomatic mission in the Caribbean nation.

The ceremony was attended by Dr. Christopher Tufton, Minister of Health and Wellness of Jamaica; the Minister of State Juliet Cuthbert-Flynn and other directors of that Ministry, including representatives from all the health regions in the country.

Kingston, Jamaica, 25 June 2021. The Ambassador of Cuba to Jamaica, Mrs. Inés Fors Fernández had a cordial meeting with the Honourable Audley Shaw, Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce and other Ministry’s directors.

They took the opportunity to discuss topical issued related to the development of economic, commercial and cooperation relations between both countries, and the importance of seeking potentialities in these areas.
