Solidarity Concert with Cuba.

Sponsored by the Norwegian-Cuban Friendship Association and with the support of other solidarity organizations, a concert in solidarity with the Cuban Revolution was held at the Nordic Black Theatre in Oslo. A group of Norwegian and Latin American artists residing in Norway volunteered their time to delight the audience with their art.

The concert was part of a noble objective embraced by the Norwegian-Cuban Friendship Association: raising funds to purchase solar panels for installation in medical facilities in Cuba.

The Fall of the Last Colonial Empire in Africa.

The book “The Fall of the Last Colonial Empire in Africa: Cuba and the Wars of Independence of Guinea-Bissau and Cape Verde”, promoted by the Cape Verdean Association in Norway and the Norwegian Council for Africa, was presented in Oslo.

Published by Pathfinder, the book is authored by Commander Víctor Dreke Cruz, whose message to the audience was read by the Cuban ambassador.

Statement by the Revolutionary Government.

Girón, today and forever!

As long as there is a woman and a man willing to give their life for the Revolution, we’ll be victorious!

Cuba lives under the constant siege of the United States government, whose threats have escalated in recent months. Adding to the ruthless energy siege—which has worsened the genocidal blockade policy over the past six decades—are statements by representatives of the U.S. governmental elite threatening military aggression.

The human and material cost of that blockade is a shame borne by the greatest empire in history.

The "Europe for Cuba" Solidarity Channel has called for an International Media Marathon, involving media outlets, digital platforms, and radio stations, to speak out against the siege of Cuba.

From 8:00 pm on April 17 to 8:00 pm on April 18, 2026 (Central European Time – UTC: Madrid, Paris, Berlin, and Rome).

For 24 uninterrupted hours, we will raise our voices to denounce the policy of blockade, economic strangulation, and ongoing aggression imposed by the United States government against Cuba and other peoples of Latin America and the Caribbean.

Europeans mobilize to demand an end to the blockade against Cuba.

Several European cities were the scene of demonstrations over the weekend in support of the Cuban people and in rejection of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States.

In a context of growing coordination among social, political, and labor organizations, the actions carried out in Belgium, Italy, and France have highlighted a common message: Cuba is not alone.
