Oslo, April 27, 2023. Invited by ANTOR Norway, and along with several colleagues from the diplomatic corps, the Cuban Ambassador, Maité Rivero Torres, attended Innovation Norway's Annual Travel Workshop (NTW), which, in its 50th edition, takes place these days at Telenor Arena.

The ambassador of Cuba to Norway, Maité Rivero Torres, and the second secretary of the Embassy, Daffne Ernesto Mirabal García, paid a visit to the "Valle Hovin vgs" high school, fulfilling an invitation made by Iohanka Olivera Acosta, a Cuban who is a teacher of Spanish in that educational center.

The University of South-Eastern Norway (USN) in Bø and the University of Havana (UH) have started an international cooperation project entitled "Ecological Connections: Cultural Studies in Cuba and Norway (ECOCON)”, led by Dr. Hans Jacob Ohldieck, associate professor of Spanish at the USN, and Dr. Haydée Arango Milián, tenured professor at the UH.
