The Consul General of Cuba in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos Orta, together with Consul Tania Valenzuela Veiga, offered a virtual conference on the Cuban experience in the course on global sexual and reproductive health rights to fourth year graduate students in health sciences at McMaster University, located in the city of Hamilton.

First meeting of Cuban-Canadian executive woman was inaugurated in the city of Montreal on March 11. More than 60 people, including a delegation of 22 Cuban executive women, attended the event.

The Canadian side was represented by Ruth Vachon, President of the Quebec Association of Women Entrepreneurs; Erandi Motte, Director of International Markets of the Montreal Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Anne Thoussand, Director of Invest in Quebec.
