The Austrian Labor Party reaffirms its solidarity with Cuba
Vienna, March 7.—The Austrian Labor Party (PdA) and its youth organization, Jugendfront, reaffirmed their support for Cuba at a solidarity event held at the Jura Soyfer Political Center in Vienna.
The event, which brought together dozens of participants, centered on a speech by the Cuban Ambassador to Austria, Pablo Berti Oliva, and allowed those present to learn firsthand about the reality facing the Cuban people following the intensification of the blockade under the new Executive Order issued by the U.S. president.
Cuba reports to the IAEA on the impact of the blockade on cancer patients
Vienna, March 5 – Ambassador Pablo Berti Oliva, Cuba’s Permanent Representative to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), reported to the Agency’s Board of Governors that 16,000 patients requiring radiation therapy and 12,400 needing chemotherapy are facing interruptions in their treatments as a direct consequence of the U.S. embargo.
