Harare, May 20, 2025 – The Cuban Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Her Excellency Ms. Susellys Pérez Mesa, reiterated today the Caribbean island's support for the legitimate and historic cause of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), during a meeting with her counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Louali Moussa Zaoui.
The ambassadors praised the relations of friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation between the two countries, as well as their mutual desire to consolidate their historic bilateral ties.

Cuba's Minister of Education, Dr. Naima Ariatne Trujillo Barreto, will participate in the Education World Forum 2025, to be held in London from 18-21 May. The Minister will be accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Education (MINED), including Marian Chorens Cruz, Director of International Relations, and Mayda Ramos Alemán, National Methodologist for English Language Teaching.

The U.S. government once again discredits itself by unjustly including Cuba on the List of countries that “do not fully cooperate with its anti-terrorism efforts”.
Once again, the State Department turns the fight against international terrorism into a unilateral political exercise against countries that do not bow to its hegemonic interests.

The meeting was led by Mary Lou McDonald, President of Sinn Féin, and Michelle O'Neill, First Minister of Northern Ireland and Deputy President of Sinn Féin.
