On Monday afternoon, May 20, 2025, an important meeting was held in the British Parliament to commemorate the 123rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Cuba and the United Kingdom.
Harare, May 20, 2025 – The Cuban Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Her Excellency Ms. Susellys Pérez Mesa, reiterated today the Caribbean island's support for the legitimate and historic cause of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), during a meeting with her counterpart, His Excellency Mr. Louali Moussa Zaoui.
The ambassadors praised the relations of friendship, brotherhood, and cooperation between the two countries, as well as their mutual desire to consolidate their historic bilateral ties.
In the framework of The Great Escape Festival 2025, one of the most important meetings of the international music industry, Cuba was represented by outstanding creators and professionals of the sector, who actively participated in conferences, exchange spaces and collaboration meetings.

The Minister will be accompanied by a delegation from the Ministry of Education (MINED), including Marian Chorens Cruz, Director of International Relations, and Mayda Ramos Alemán, National Methodologist for English Language Teaching.
