The Cuban Ambassador holds a meeting with the Vice-President and delegation of EDEK
The Cuban Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, held a meeting with the Vice-President of the Socialist Party of Cyprus (EDEK), Mrs. Maria Vasiliadou at the premises of the Embassy.
During the meeting they discussed the common challenges faced by the two islands and the future possibilities of cooperation in order to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the bilateral relations between Cuba and Cyprus.

On the night of the 20th of June 2024, in a relaxed atmosphere at Casa del Habano in Nicosia, the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in Cyprus organized a Business Networking Event presenting investment opportunities in Cuba in various sectors.
The President of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Stavros Stavrou in his speech referring to the historical ties of Cyprus and Cuba, mentioned that new investment opportunities are opening up and that Cuba can count on Cyprus’ support.
