Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba receives Copies of Style from the Ambassador of Finland
The Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Elio Rodríguez Perdomo, received this Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Cuban Foreign Ministry, His Excellency. Mr. Ari Mäki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Finland. At the event, the diplomat presented the Copies of Style that accredit him as ambassador designated by his country, before the government of the Republic of Cuba.
Cuba ratifies to the President of Latvia's interest in strengthening bilateral ties
During the official activities carried out in the Republic of Latvia, the Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, greeted President Edgars Rinkevičs, to whom she conveyed a New Year message on behalf of the people and Government of the Republic of Cuba. In the exchange, the Cuban diplomat shared her best wishes for the people and Government of Latvia in 2024, and the intention to continue strengthening bilateral ties. Cuba also participated in the celebrations for the 103rd Anniversary of the International Recognition of Latvia as a nation and took part in meetings with other authorities of the country -to whom she thanked for supporting Cuba against the US embargo- as well as events organized in the Parliament.
From SYK High-School in Helsinki a tribute to José Martí
In the context of the tributes to the National Hero of Cuba, José Martí, regarding the 171st Anniversary of his Birth, the Cuban ambassador, Beatriz Parra González, offered a conference on the history of the Island Caribbean to students of the IB Program at the SYK pre-university school, in Helsinki. During the exchange of almost two hours, the diplomat referred to the main moments in the history of Cuba, highlighting the work of the Apostle of the Revolution and the historical reasons that make the country defend its sovereignty. Likewise, Parra signified the important contribution of José Martí to Latin American and universal literature, inviting students to approach his copious work.
Cuba participated in official activities for the 103 Anniversary of the International recognition of Latvia
The Ambassador of Cuba to Latvia participated in the official activities for the 103 Anniversary of the International recognition of the Republic of Latvia. The Cuban diplomat shared greetings with the main authorities of the Foreign Ministry, starting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Krišjānis Kariņš, its Secretary of State, Andris Pelšs, the Under Secretary of State, Andžejs Viļumsons, and the officials of the Latin American and Caribbean area, headed by the director, Inga Krastiņa. The Ambassador took the opportunity to thank the distinguish authorities on behalf of Cuban people and Government for Latvia's support on the United Nations, against the US' embargo as well as the existing cooperation in various multilateral bodies.
Cuba at the Helsinki International Tourism Fair "Matka 2024"
Cuba returned to the International Tourism Fair "Matka 2024" held in Helsinki this weekend. The Cuban Tourism Advisor for Finland and the Nordic countries, Eddy Santos, held extensive work meetings, focused on the main market agencies and proposals of the Cuba product to new operators.The Cuban Ambassador, Beatriz Parra González, also present at the Fair, also shared greetings with the Finland-Cuba Friendship Association, which from the Fair promoted the next Brigade of Solidarity with Cuba.
