VII ROUND OF CUBA - CAYMAN ISLANDS MIGRATION TALKS CONCLUDED

George Town, 7 December 2022. The VII Round of Talks on Migration Affairs between Cuba and the Cayman Islands took place during the last two days, co-chaired by Ernesto Soberón Guzmán, Director General of Consular Affairs and Attention to Cubans Residing Abroad of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Gloria McField-Nixon, acting Deputy Governor, respectively.

George Town, 6 December 2022. The VII Round of Talks on Migration Issues between the Republic of Cuba and the Cayman Islands will take place in George Town on 6 and 7 December.

The Caymanian delegation will be headed by Gloria McField-Nixon, Acting Deputy Governor; while the Cuban side will be headed by Ernesto Soberón Guzmán, Director General of Consular Affairs and Attention to Cubans Residing Abroad of MINREX.

Cuba-Jamaica Friendship Association ratifies solidarity with Cuba.

Kinsgton, 4 December 2022. Different organisations that make up the movement of solidarity with Cuba in Jamaica gathered on Sunday morning, December 4, to celebrate their annual meeting.

The meeting was attended by the Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica, Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, and officials of the diplomatic headquarters, as well as representatives of the Cuban community in Jamaica.
