Vientiane, October 4, 2025. Lao Minister of Foreign Affairs Thongsavanh Phomvihane concluded a successful stay in Cuba, where he carried out an official visit at the invitation of his Cuban counterpart.
In addition to holding official talks with Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, he was received by President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez and Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz, and visited other socioeconomic and cultural places.

During the meeting, both parties reviewed the state of bilateral relations and agreed on their mutual willingness to continue expanding and strengthening the cooperation in areas such as education, sports, health, biotechnology, and agriculture.
