The Cuban ambassador visits the province of Masvingo, in eastern Zimbabwe, on Thursday. During his visit he held a productive meeting with the Minister of State for the province, in addition to visiting the Cuban collaborators who work in the provincial Hospital.

Beirut, March 28, 2019. Ambassador Alexander Pellicer and Counselor Raul Madrigal held a friendly meeting with former Lebanese President Emile Lahoud, with whom they exchanged about the historic friendship relations between Cuba and Lebanon.

Lahoud remembered with pleasure his visit to Cuba in 2006 and his meetings with Raúl Castro, Hugo Chavez and other world leaders in the framework of the Summit of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries.

Pretoria, March 29, 2019.- The Vice President of Cuba, Inés María Chapman presided an act of solidarity with Cuba that was held in the afternoon at the University of South Africa.

The participants carried Cuban flags, posters denouncing the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba, against the illegal occupation of part of the Cuban territory of the province of Guantánamo by the United States and against the imperialist aggressions towards Venezuela and Nicaragua.
