The Hague, 16 Ocotber 2018. First Secretary Susellys Pérez Mesa and Second Secretary José Pérez Lazo made a presentation about Cuba to a group of students, faculty and the director of the International Business Studies Programme at the University of Applied Sciences of The Hague.

The Acting Director of the Africa and Middle East Division of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), Yahimí Rodríguez Flores, made a working visit to Ghana from October 15 to 21, where she completed an extensive program of activities, including meetings and interviews with the representatives of the Campaign of Solidarity with Cuba in the country.

The Cuban Ambassador in Kuwait Fernando Pérez Maza , visits the Salam International Hospital, and he met with the leaders of the largest private hospital in the country, who are also interested in the relations of medical cooperation with the mayor of The Antilles.

During the meeting,the Ambassador published a presentation on Cuban Public Helth and delivered graphic material on the main achievements of medicine in Cuba.

Wellington, October 20, 2018.- Coordinated by the Latin Club and the Embassy of Cuba in New Zealand, the "Cuban Night" took place in Wellington, to celebrate the Cuban Culture Day and as part of the activities carried out in the city for the Spanish Language and Culture Week.

Main attraction was a presentation by the Cuban Ambassador, Mario Alzugaray, who exchange with participants on the Cuban culture, traditions and history, with special emphasis on the Cuban Rum history, one of the essential elements that are part of the Cuban nationality.

Cork, October 2018. The Cuban poet Alexis Diaz Pimienta in his recent work visit to the University of Cork to participate in the Latin American Days, wanted to leave as a gift one of his poetic improvisations to this house of higher education and its professors, students and friends who received him.

The beautiful garden of the University, its many colors and the warmth of its people inspired the poet, who left this gift in verses, within the framework of the Cuban Culture Day.

Brussels, October 20, 2018. (CUBAN CULTURE DAY). A representation of the Association of Cubans residing in Ireland "Ernesto Che Guevara” is already in Brussels to participate in the debates of the XIII Meeting of Cubans Resident in Europe (ECRE).

Under the emblem "The Cuban culture sword and shield of our nation", the 7th Cuban Meeting of Cuban Living in Ghana and the 3rd Meeting of Children and Youth were held at the T-Havana Parks, on the "Cuban Culture Day". The meeting was attended by 52 people, including Cuban residents, children and other relatives.

The meeting was conducted by Yovanna Cobas and Beatriz Roll, Coordinator and Vice-Coordinator of the Association of Cubans Living in Ghana, who emphasized the importance of both meetings in a month where important historical dates are celebrated.
