The Cuban Ambassador presents her Credentials to UNIDO
Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Republic of Cuba to the International Organizations in Vienna, Mrs. Loipa Sánchez Lorenzo presented her Credentials to H.E. Mr. LI Yong, Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO).
“Ars Longa” Ensemble triumphs in Vienna
"Ars Longa" Early Music Ensemble successfully performed in the "Großer Saal” of the emblematic “Wiener Konzerthaus”. The Ensemble presented the concert entitled "Misa Guadalupana", in the framework of the “Resonanzen Festival”, which this year has as its main theme "The ten commandments".
The event which is dedicated to ancient music, is a space where the prestigious Cuban ensemble already has an important endorsement, having performed in four of its editions, with different repertoires and a high professionalism and versatility, which distinguish and identify it.

"Cuba Va", the Association of Cubans Residents in Austria, having been restructured today, 19 January 2020, in a General Assembly, proclaims its commitment to
1) To strengthen the ties that unite us forever to our homeland wherever we are. To disseminate and defend our culture, values and identity, always with respect and gratitude to our heroes and martyrs who gave everything for Cuba´s independence and sovereignty.
2) To continue to denounce and demand the end of the U.S. blockade against Cuba, which unjustly continues to affect our families and the entire Cuban people.
Cuba at Vienna´s International Tourism Fair in Austria
In the presence of Ambassador Loipa Sanchez Lorenzo, the Cuban stand was inaugurated at Vienna´s International Tourism Fair “#Ferien-Messe Wien”, which takes place in the Austrian capital from January 16 to 19, 2020.
The event is the most important of its kind organized in Austria to promote international destinations. It is held annually with large number of exhibitors and visitors. In this edition, more than 800 exhibitors from 80 countries are represented.
