University of the Bahamas receives donation from the Cuban Book Institute
NASSAU, May 2nd, 2018. - The Provost of the University of The Bahamas, Dr. Linda A. Davis, received from the hands of the Ambassador of Cuba to The Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, a donation of 14 titles of different Cuban authors sent by the Cuban Book Institute to be part of the University´s Literary Festival.

Children and youth celebrate in The Bahamas on April 4
Nassau, April 9th, 2018. - The Embassy of Cuba in The Bahamas and the Association of Cubans Resident "Ismaelilloˮ celebrated a beautiful activity for children and youngsters on the occasion of April 4th. This year the date marks the Anniversaries 56 of the Young Communists Union (UJC, in Spanish) and 57 of the Organization of Pioneers José Martí (OPJM, in Spanish).
Government General of the Bahamas greets the Cuban Ambassador during the Easter Tea Party
Nassau, April 9, 2018. - The Ambassador of Cuba to the Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, attended a few hours ago to the traditional Easter Tea Party, an invitation of the Governor General of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, Her Excellency Dame Marguerite Pindling.
The main objective of this event is to maintain the tradition of tea and strengthen relations between the women of the Bahamian society as well as the ones in diplomatic missions represented in The Bahamas.
Permanent Secretary of Legal Affairs of The Bahamas receives the Cuban Ambassador
NASSAU, 26 March 2018. - The Permanent Secretary of the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Legal Affairs of The Bahamas, Marco Rolle, received the Ambassador of Cuba to the Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, at the headquarters of this institution.
