Cuban Mission in Cambodia prepares consultation on Family Code

With the certainty of the high responsibility that it entails, the Electoral Commission of the District of the Cuban Embassy in Cambodia was constituted in a solemn act. With the signing of the oath, which ratifies the loyalty of its members to the Homeland and compliance with professionalism, discipline and demand of the activities inherent to the positions they will exercise, the process of consultation and popular referendum on the new Code of the families. The ethical commitment of professionalism, discipline, exigency, transparency and impartiality was subscribed by Ambassador  Liurka Rodríguez Barrios, as a president, and  Secretary Elsa Barrios Hernández.

Friendly meeting between the vicepresident of ICAPand the Ambassador of Cambodia

On the ocassion of the Cambodia Victory Day January 7,  a friendly meeting took place between Victor Gaute, vicepresident of ICAP and the Ambassador of Royal Kingdom of Cambodia, HE. Ban Borom. It was reaffirmed our solidarity ties proved by the support of our peoples in most difficult times. Cuba and the Kingdom of Cambodia established diplomatic relations on April 15, 1960. Since then, these relationships have passed all tests. The relations of friendship, cooperation, mutual assistance and support between Cuba and the Kingdom are unbreakable.

His Majesty the King Congratulates Cuba on National Day

His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has sent a congratulatory message to H.E. Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermúdez, President of the Republic of Cuba, on the National Day of Cuba. “On the occasion of the celebration of the National Day of the Republic of Cuba, it is with pleasure that I convey greetings and felicitations to Your Excellency and to the people of Cuba,” wrote the Cambodian monarch in the royal message dated Jan. 3.

Cuban ambassador pays tribute to His Highness Norodom Ranariddh

The Cuban Ambassador to Cambodia, Liurka Rodríguez Barrios, participated in the funeral service for the death of Her Highness Norodom Ranariddh, former Prime Minister and former President of the National Assembly of Cambodia. The diplomat conveyed the message of condolences from Cuban Premier Manuel Marrero to his counterpart Hun Sen, extended to the royal family and the people of Cambodia.
