Cuban PM express condolences on the passing of His Highness Norodom Ranariddh
The Prime Minister of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, sent a message to his Cambodian counterpart, Hun Sen, to express deep condolences on the passing of His Highness Samdech Krom Preah Norodom Ranariddh, former Prime Minister of Cambodia and former President of the National Assembly, with the request that he extend them to the royal family and the people of the Asian kingdom. The Cuban leader assured that his country will always be grateful for the contributions of his Highness to the strengthening of bilateral relations, as well as for the feelings of admiration and respect for Cuba.

The Cuban Ambassador in Phnom Penh, Liurka Rodríguez, met virtually with university students and Timorese fellows in the kingdom of Cambodia, with whom H.E Ambassador discussed the impact of Covid-19 on the educational sector. H.E Ambassador denounced that the aggressive policy of the United States against the Greater Antilles prevents the use of virtual platforms or recognized applications such as Zoom, for which there were various initiatives to support the non-face-to-face teaching process.

In a meeting with the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Havana, foreign minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla warned on Wednesday that in no way will the persistent US aggression, intensified in recent months, to generate conditions of internal destabilization, be allowed to spoil the moment of recovery and joy that the country is experiencing with the control of the COVID19.
