Cuban Minister arrives in Trinidad and Tobago

Port of Spain, June 11. - Cuba's Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, arrived in Trinidad and Tobago, the first stop of a tour of the Caribbean to further strengthen relations with the region.

"I arrived on an official visit to Trinidad and Tobago, our sister nation of the Caribbean, to which historic ties of friendship and cooperation unite us," Rodriguez said in his Twitter account.

NY Times Says Removing Cuba´s More Doctors Program Affects Brazilians.

Washington, June 11, 2019.The New York Times reported on Tuesday that Brazilian government´s decision on stopping Cuba´s More Doctors Program still affects 28 million people.

The information recalled that President Jair Bolsonaro said they could solve the absence of Cuban professionals counting on the graduation of about 20,000 physicians per year, but six months after having taken office in January, such statement has not become real.

Friends of Cuba organize protest in front of U.S. Consulate-General in Auckland

Auckland.-  On the afternoon of Friday, June 7th, members of the Cuba Friendship Society in Auckland held a protest in front of the consulate General of the United States in that city, to condemn the new measures announced by Washington, which reinforce the economic, commercial and financial blockade and are part of the recent escalation of this American administration against the Caribbean nation.
