The President of the Republic, General Michel Aoun, received in a solemn audience at the Baabda Palace, the new Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba, Alexander Pellicer Moraga, who presented the Credentials that accredit him as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to the Lebanese Republic.
Havana, December 19th, 2018- The Cuban Baseball Federation (FCB), the Major Leagues Baseball (MLB), with the consent of the Major Leagues Baseball Players Association (MLBPA) signed a historical agreement today that will allow the Cuban baseball players associated with the FCB, who play in the Cuban National Series and in the rest of the Cuban baseball tournaments system, to be signed by any of the 30 Clubs in the United States´ Major Leagues.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov and the Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Baku, Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, exchanged greetings during a meeting organized by the local Chancellery in which all the heads of accredited missions participated Caucasian nation.
The Ambassador of Cuba to the Arab Republic of Egypt, H.E. Mrs. Tania Aguiar Fernández, presented copies of her Credentials to the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, H.E. Mr. Hatem Tag Al Din.
The friendly meeting spaked the interest of topics related to economic aspects of Cuba and the updating of the Cuban economic model.
