In the context of the Latin American and the Caribbean cinema exhibition hosted by Casa Latinoamericana in this capital from 4 to 7 April, the Danish public had the opportunity to appreciate the quality of the Cuban cinematographic production through the screening of the film "Scent of Oak", directed by Rigoberto López and which has been internationally awarded in several occasions. Representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited and Cuban residents in Denmark also attended to the event.

New Delhi, April 7, 2017. The Cuban Ambassador to India, Oscar Martínez Cordovés attended the Inaugural Conference of the Association of Parliamentarians for Peace, held this day at the seat of Parliament. The theme of the activity was "The critical challenges of our times: the role of governments, civil society and grassroots organizations".

The activity was chaired by Prof. P. J. Kurian, vice-president of the Upper House, who spoke on behalf of the president of that chamber and the Vice-President of the Republic, M. H. Ansari.

On April 6, delegates from the Lao People's Democratic Republic arrived in Manila, Philippines, to the 8th Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba. They are comrades Sounthone Sirisack and Thammalath Vilasdavong, Vice President and Executive Secretary respectively of the Lao-Cuba Friendship Association.

New arrivals of US cruise companies Pearl Seas, Royal Caribbean and Norwegian Cruises took place during the first quarter of 2017 to Havana, which is in line with the projections of the development of such attractive activity in Cuba.
 
Today the US Norweigan Cruise announced it will add 33 round trip sailings to Cuba from Miami in 2018.
 
The newly announced cruises begin on March 26, 2018 and are in addition to the 30 cruises that Norwegian is running to Cuba in 2017.
