Cuban delegation participates in Caribbean Regional Consultation on Integrated Financing for International Environmental Instruments
Kingston, 7 November 2023. A Cuban delegation, led by representatives of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA) intervened in the Caribbean Regional Consultation on Integrated Financing for International Environmental Instruments. The event was supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the Secretariats of the Cartagena Convention, CARICOM and regional development banks.
Blockade of Cuba violates international law, Jamaica denounces at the UN
United Nations, New York, November 2, 2023 (Prensa Latina). The economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba for more than 60 years violates international law, the Jamaican delegation denounced today at the United Nations.
"We call for the removal of this blockade, which has been in place for decades, and which not only generates unnecessary wounds on the economy, but also suppresses expressions of development of the growth potential of the Cuban people," said the Jamaican representative.

Legacy of Camilo Cienfuegos present in Jamaica.
Kingston, 28 October 2023. Members of the diplomatic mission of Cuba in Jamaica, health and education collaborators and members of the Association of Cuban Residents and the movement of solidarity with Cuba converged in the area known as "Kingston seafront" to pay tribute to Camilo Cienfuegos, on the 64th anniversary of his physical disappearance.
During the ceremony, they recalled his humble origins, his close friendship with our Commander-in-Chief and with Che, his leadership qualities and his tireless work in defence of the nascent Revolution.
