Cubans living in Jamaica join in launch of Destination Cuba and Multidestination 2023 campaign
Kingston, 9 March 2023. Cubans living in Jamaica participated in the launch of the Destination Cuba and Multidestination 2023 campaign, organised by the Caribbean and Latin Travel agency and the Cuban Embassy in Jamaica.
Tour operators, promoters of health tourism and immersion travel, designers of traditional Cuban clothing, photographers and members of the musical group "Andy Son" exchanged with those attending the event. They highlighted the identity elements of Cuban culture and its links with Jamaican culture.

Members of the Association of Cuban Residents in Jamaica "Antonio Maceo" (ACRJ) and members of the Cuba Solidarity Movement gathered at the Antonio Maceo statue in the Jamaican Heroes Park to denounce the impact of the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.
Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica holds meeting with Mayor of Kingston and St. Andrew
Kingston, 15 February 2023. Cuban Ambassador to Jamaica Fermín Quiñones Sánchez held a courtesy meeting with Senator Delroy Williams, Mayor of Kingston and St. Andrew.
During the exchange, both officials highlighted the close historical ties between Cuba and the city of Kingston, where many Cuban patriots, including the Maceo family, resided for some time during the so-called "fruitful truce".
