A new group of Cuban teachers arrives in Jamaica
Kingston 1 de septiembre de 2023.- Un nuevo grupo de docentes cubanos arribó a esta capital caribeña para prestar sus servicios en el sistema educativo público jamaiquino, e iniciarán sus labores el próximo lunes 4 de septiembre.
Los profesionales de la educación cubana impartirán diferentes materias como lengua española, física, biotecnología, entre otras, y se sumarán al contingente ya establecido que trabaja en prácticamente toda la geografía jamaicana.
Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mines of Jamaica receives the Cuban ambassador in Jamaica
Kingston, August 30, 2023.- In an atmosphere of cordiality and cooperation, the Cuban ambassador to Jamaica, Fermín Quiñones Sánchez, paid a courtesy call to by the to the Honourable Floyd Green, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Mining.
In the meeting in which other senior officials of the aforementioned institution were present, the status of cooperation projects between the two countries in the field of agriculture, aimed at promoting food security and sustainable development objectives, was evaluated.
TRIBUTE TO COMMANDER FIDEL CASTRO RUZ IN JAMAICA
Portmore, August 13th, 2023. On the occasion of the 97th anniversary of the birth of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, various organizations that take part of the movement of solidarity with Cuba, members of the Cuban diaspora, Cuban collaborators and the Cuban Embassy in this country, gathered in Portmore, Jamaica.
