New York, 1 August 2022. Robert Manfred, Commissioner of Major League Baseball (MLB), acknowledged that the Cuban Baseball Federation (FCB) is the only one mandated recruit the Cuban team and that his organization has neither voice nor vote in it.

Latin Americans bring solidarity with Cuba to fruition
Havana, 1 August 2022. Women and men from Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Panama, Peru and the Dominican Republic on Monday were part of the 27th Latin American and Caribbean Brigade of Voluntary Work and Solidarity with Cuba.
Such a solidarity brigade, made up of 80 people, was established on Monday at the Julio Antonio Mella International Camp, located in the western province of Artemisa.
